Lord Ganesh Pendant BoxGhau or the Prayer box is a small box type pendant to keep small sacred items. Traditionally, Tibetans use these Ghau as portable shrines where prayers and sacred relics are kept. You can use it to empower your intentions and also to remove obstacles that might be getting in the way of your dreams. Write in a little piece of paper your wishes and ask that all all obstacles be removed. Then put the piece of paper in the Ganesh box. You then can wear it or place it in your altar.
Lord Ganesh is also called the God of "knowledge", or the god "remover of obstacles", and he is the older son of Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesh is worshipped, or at least remembered, in the beginning of any auspicious performance. He has four hands, an elephant's head and a big belly, sitting on a tiny mouse. In his hands, he carries a rope (to carry devotees to the truth), an ax (to cut devotees' attachments), and a sweet dessert ball -laddoo- (to reward devotees for spiritual activity). His fourth hand's palm is always extended to bless people. Front side beautifully decorated with the sculpt of Lord Ganesh, with three dust genuine red coral or Turquoise beads over the head of the God Ganesh, and two genuine dust beads underneath Plain back side which can be opened as an empty box. All handmade by the local craftsmen of Katmandu Nepal
